Customize watermark

Supported formats

Supports PDF documents and PNG, JPG, JPEG images. PDFs are watermarked page by page, and images export in their original format.

File limits

Each PDF should be 50MB or smaller, and each image should be 20MB or smaller. Larger files need more browser memory and time.

Privacy

Files are read and processed only in the current browser. They are not uploaded to a remote server and no external API is required.

Best practices

For common watermarks, use 20% to 35% opacity. Contracts and proofs work well with tiled watermarks; images often work better with center or corner placement.

Limitations

  • Very large PDFs or high-resolution images may process slowly depending on browser performance.
  • Protected, damaged, or password-encrypted PDFs may not be supported.
  • The watermark is written into a new file, but it is not an electronic signature or tamper-proof certification.
