Drakvix Repeater Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 28, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Mac App Store version of DRAKVIX A-B Repeater (Drakvix Repeater) provided by Yuanfan Technology (Dongguan) Co., Ltd., and to support, inquiry, and service communications related to that version.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to data processing by Apple Inc., the Mac App Store, payment processing, refund processing, or other third-party services. Those activities are handled independently by the relevant third party under its own privacy policy and terms.

If you visit other Yuanfan Technology website pages or use other products, please also read the privacy notice for the relevant page or product.

3. Categories of Data We Process

The app is designed as a local-first application. Audio, video, subtitles, dictation text, reference answers, mistakes, favorites, course history, learning statistics, playback settings, and interface preferences are stored locally on your Mac by default.

The current Mac App Store version does not upload your audio, video, subtitles, dictation content, mistakes, or learning records to Yuanfan Technology servers or third-party AI services for processing.

If you contact us by email or through a support page, we may receive your email address, name or preferred form of address, issue description, screenshots, error information, app version, macOS version, and other information you choose to provide.

Downloads, purchases, refunds, tax invoices, payment records, and Apple account information for the Mac App Store version are managed by Apple. Except for developer dashboard statistics or transaction-related information made available by Apple, we do not ask you to provide your Apple account password or full payment information.

4. Purposes of Processing

Local learning data is used to provide app functions such as media import, sentence segmentation, A-B repeat, sentence-by-sentence dictation, reference answer comparison, mistake review, learning statistics, preference storage, and project export.

Support request information is used to identify and respond to your questions, troubleshoot issues, improve product quality, maintain service security, and, where necessary, comply with legal, regulatory, or dispute-resolution requirements.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, do not share your personal information for third-party advertising purposes, and do not use the app for cross-app or cross-site tracking.

5. Storage, Retention, and Deletion

Local app data is generally stored in the local application data directory assigned by macOS or in a location you expressly select. You can delete courses, sentences, favorites, mistakes, and learning records inside the app, and you can manage imported source media files in Finder.

Before uninstalling the app, clearing app data, or deleting imported files, please decide whether you need to back up course history, favorites, exported projects, or other learning materials.

Support communication records are retained for a reasonable period necessary for communication, after-sales support, quality improvement, and compliance purposes. You may request deletion or correction of support information you provided to us at info@yuanfanx.com, unless retention is required by law or necessary for dispute handling, contract performance, or security protection.

6. Third-Party Services and Sharing

Distribution, installation, purchase, refund, and related account services for the Mac App Store version are provided by Apple. Apple may process your device information, account information, purchase information, and regional information under its own privacy policy.

The app may include or call locally running third-party open-source components, runtimes, models, or media-processing tools. These components primarily execute on your device for audio processing, transcription, or app operation. Please see the Third-Party Notices page for the third-party material inventory.

We do not disclose your personal information to third parties unless we have your explicit authorization, disclosure is necessary to provide support you requested, disclosure is required by law, or disclosure is necessary to protect the lawful rights and interests of users, the public, us, or third parties.

7. Sensitive Information and Children’s Privacy

Please do not send identity documents, full payment information, full license keys, private audio or video files, medical information, children’s identity information, or other sensitive personal information to us by support email.

The app is intended for general language learning and listening practice and is not specifically directed to children. Minors should use the app with the consent and guidance of a parent or guardian.

8. Security Measures

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we actually receive and process, including access limitation, website and support email security, data minimization, and a product design that prioritizes local processing.

Because the Internet, email, and endpoint device environments are not absolutely secure, we cannot promise that any transmission or storage method is completely secure. Please protect your Mac, system account, Apple ID, backups, and imported media files carefully.

9. Cross-Border Processing

Core learning data of the app is processed and stored on your Mac by default. If you communicate with us, Apple, or other service providers through email, websites, or the App Store, relevant information may be processed outside your region according to the infrastructure arrangements of the service provider.

Where cross-border processing occurs, we will take reasonable measures to protect relevant information to the extent required by applicable law.

10. Your Rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or an explanation of processing activities concerning personal information you have voluntarily provided to us.

For app data stored locally on your Mac, you can manage it through app features, macOS system features, or Finder. We generally cannot remotely access or delete data stored only on your device.

For purchase, refund, account, and App Store data managed by Apple, please submit requests through Apple’s privacy or support channels.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as product features, service methods, laws, regulations, or compliance requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with the last updated date.

If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide notice in a reasonable manner, such as through a website notice, app description, or other appropriate method.

User Controls

You can manage local imported files and app learning records.

Imported files are selected and managed by you. Before uninstalling the app or deleting app data, decide whether you need to back up course history, favorites, exported projects, or learning statistics.

  • Delete courses, favorites, mistakes, and learning records inside the app.
  • Manage your own files and app data in Finder or macOS system settings.
  • Handle purchases, refunds, and Apple account privacy requests through Apple channels.
